“Why I Do Not Like The Obamas” – Mychal S. Massie

By |February 19th, 2014|

” don’t hate them per definition, but I condemn them because they are the worst kind of racialists, they are elitist Leninists with contempt for traditional America. They display disrespect for the sanctity of the office he holds, and for those who are willing to admit same Michelle Obama’s raw contempt for white America is transpicuous.” – Mychal S. Massie

Resolution Supporting Dave Agema

By |February 19th, 2014|

Chairman Robert Schostak

Secchia-Weiser Michigan Republican Center

520 Seymour St.

Lansing, MI 48933

Dear Chairman Schostak,

The Newaygo County Michigan Republican Committee, on hearing of the firestorm brewing against our National Committeman Dave Agema regarding his stance in support of traditional marriage and against other unions, prepared the attached resolution in his support.  By sending this to you, it is our desire to communicate our own stance in support of traditional marriage and against other unions, and our support for our National Committeeman.  In addition, we hope to encourage you in the same position as expressed in our party platform.  Whether or not the political winds are against us, we hold this to be a moral issue where compromise is no virtue but rather a path that can lead only to decline both for individuals directly involved and for our country as a whole.

We feel that it is, in fact, our differences with the Democratic Party that make our candidates worthy of support.  Not that we value differences for the sake of disagreement, of course – but rather that we know what we believe, we know why we believe it, and the truth carries weight such that we feel it is only reasonable to convince others to agree with us!

Recording Secretary,

Newaygo County Republican Committee

While I was a State Representative I supported and pushed for Part-time Legislation. Speaker Becky Lockhart has some great things to say about it.

There were some rules changes at the RNC Winter Meeting back in January, which can be summarized thus (a longer description is below):

Allowing the convention to start earlier (mid-July instead of late August)
Imposing some form of proportional delegate allocation for any contests held before March 15th, with the provision that a state may set a minimum threshold (not higher than 20%) below which a candidate may receive no delegates, and with a provision allowing proportional states to be winner-take-all if a candidate receives an absolute majority (50% or greater).  Any state violating this rule is penalized 50% of their delegation (discarding all fractions).
Allowing only the four “carve out” primary states (Iowa, Hew Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada) to hold their primaries in February; everyone else cannot start before March 1st.  If a state tries to jump in early, then their delegates will be limited to 9, if they have 30 or more delegates, or 6, if they have 29 or less.  (This could potentially harm Michigan, as MCL Section 168.641 requires us to conduct our presidential primary either on “the fourth Tuesday in February,” or on “the first Tuesday after the first Monday in May.”)
All delegates and alternate delegates shall be elected or selected not later than forty-five (45) days before the date of the meeting of the national convention (changed from the previous rule, which had a cutoff of 35 days prior to convention.  There are some states that by law require delegates to be chosen after that date, and there is a waiver provision for those states.
Since the nominee will be selected earlier, there was also a move to limit the amount of debates as well as debate moderation by liberal media moderators.

The Full Story on Dave Agema
As reported in The Grand Rapids Press of January 21 and 26, Betsy De Vos, a major Republican donor, has pressured the GOP to silence the voice of Michigan Republican National Committee (MI RNC) Representative Dave Agema.  She and some others have called for his resignation.

Not so fast!  There seems to be an incorrect assumption that money and power can over-ride the choice and voice of grassroots Republican conservatives.

Michigan delegates elected MI RNC Representative Dave Agema by a wide margin because he is a man of character.  Recently Dave said, “There is a movement to silence the conservative voice in the GOP….Principles matter.  When we deviate from our principles, we’re going to lose this country.”  (Mlive, 1/27/14)

He went on to underscore several central tenants of the Republican Party:  the right to bear arms, legal immigration, prolife, marriage defined as between a man and woman, our rights coming from God, and the government’s responsibility to protect our rights.

If you believe that some leaders in the GOP are bowing to money and power and are betraying these values—including freedom of speech—get a sample of Dave Agema standing for our principles.  Watch his Sidewinder video on daveagema.com.  He is the elected RNC Representative and he will continue to call the Republican Party back to the U.S. Constitution and the core values for which the GOP stands.

“Dave Agema is a prophet” – State Rep. Jack Hoogendyk

By |February 10th, 2014|

“In MY opinion, Dave Agema is a prophet, willing to take the slings and arrows of the left and members of his own party to speak the truth,” Hoogendyk said in an email sent out to followers of his “Core Principles” email list. “He may be a bit blunt at times but what he is saying needs to be heard and I applaud his courage in saying it.”

Re: Comment about Russia from RNC Committeeman Dave Agema

Letter to the Editor
Re: Comment about Russia from RNC Committeeman Dave Agema

Recently RNC Committeeman Dave Agema has come under fire from RINO Republicans and the media. One such comment deals with the Freedom of Religion in Russia and their protection of children from immorality. While the Obama administration is busy demonizing the so called anti-homosexual stance of Russia, the media rather than checking the facts jumped on the rhetoric in typical fashion. Most Americans are unaware of what has been happening in Russia.
In October, I was privileged to attend the 11th World Public Forum, a dialogue of civilizations in Rhodes Greece. http://wpfdc.org/ The Forum is made up of V.I.P. invitation-only guests who are presidents and prime ministers, religious leaders and distinguished university professors from around the world. It was during the Plenary Meeting titled “Family and Education” that the Russians spoke about their family law. It appears that our government and media are misleading the American people.
Russian President Vladimir Putin recognizes that in order to have a strong civilization a country must have a strong family, a view agreed upon by the majority of the World Pubic Forum attendees. To aid in this accomplishment, Freedom of Religion has been encouraged and a law to protect children from harm has been created. In Russia it is illegal to corrupt a child through any type of abuse which includes incest, homosexuality, pedophilia, and pornography. The law further states that the best environment for raising a child is with their father and mother. Somehow the LGBT and the Obama administration has construed this to be an anti-homosexual stance in Russia when in fact it is a pro-decency stance that cares […]
